Integrating WSO with O365 to Provide Mobile App DLP and Conditional Access

Updated: Apr 11, 2023

Thinking about best of the breed approach to enjoy the benefits from VMware WSO and collaboration solution from MS O365?

Here are your options you can choose from:

1. Sharing data between MS SDK app and AW SDK app. In case you want to allow MS O365 Mobile App Protection protected apps to share data with AW SDK app such as Boxer, you can use WSO Send app as a bridge.

WSO Send is an app implemented with MS SDK. It honors MS DLP policy and we can use it as a bridge to share data securely among MS and AW apps such as Boxer.

2. This is an option if you want to adopt only MS O365 mobile app. WSO UEM allows administrator to get MS DLP policy set up on UEM console. UEM console calls Intune API to set up DLP policy on Intune console. Administrator can manage MS API policy without jumping to intune console.

3. Integrating with Azure compliance conditional access to allow WSO UEM to share device compliance status with Azure.

Devices not managed by VM UEM or not in compliance will get blocked by Azure compliance checker when using Office 365 mobile apps including Teams app.
