Using sysdiagnose to Capture MacOS log

“sysdiagnose“ is a handy tool when it comes to MacOS troubleshooting.


You can first get your problem replicated, for example, reinstall a profile from UEM console,


and get the diagnose log following steps below


1. Press “shift” + “ctrl“ + “option” + “command” + “.”





2. Screen will make a flash and “sysdiagnose” process will start to run.

3. In 5 to 10 minutes, a new Finder Windows will come Up with the archive file in /private/var/tmp


You can use the log for troubleshooting or to provide it to a product support team for further investigation.
