Removing Redirect Cache from SEG

If Email server replies to the email request with response code as “451” instead of “200” for a user, SEG will save that in SEG cache against that user with hostname where it has to redirect, from now on any email request received by SEG for same user it sends that request to the redirect URL stored in SEG cache. Requests are no longer sent to the original activesync host.


We have seen a case the re-directed host is not a valid host. As now the SEG got the re-directed host memorized, the way to get rid of it is to do a cache clear on SEG console.. Please see the screen below.
